What is Digital Klowong Batik?
Batik digital klowong is the process of making batik motif lines on fabric using a computer-controlled automatic canting machine. This technology allows each motif line to be drawn with high precision, consistently and efficiently — far beyond the limitations of conventional manual techniques.
💡 Klowong is a term in the world of batik for the first wax (wax) process that forms the main line of the motif. After this stage, batik craftsmen can continue the coloring process manually according to taste.
🚨 Important Attention: This service only includes the process of making batik motif lines (klowong) on fabric. The batik dyeing process is not included in this service and must be carried out separately at the next stage of production.
This service is very suitable for customers who want to produce batik in larger quantities with uniform results, without sacrificing the beauty of the distinctive batik motif.
Service Process Flow
1 Motif Consultation & Design
If you don't have a design yet, we are ready to help create a batik motif design according to your needs. Designs are created using special software that is compatible with our canting machines.
✅ Advantages: Designs that have been created can be reused for subsequent production without additional design costs.
2 Fabric Preparation
Customers can use their own fabric or use the fabric we provide. We provide Super Primis Cotton Fabric measuring 250 × 115 cm for Rp 84,000 / sheet — one of the favorite choices because of its good absorbency for the batik process.
3 Machine Embedding Process
The fabric is fed into a digital canting machine. The machine will draw batik motif lines according to the programmed design. Processing time is calculated based on the length of time the machine has been operating, with rates starting at Rp 20,000 / hour.
⚠️ Note: The duration of the work cannot be determined before the design is analyzed by the system. More complicated motifs will take longer.
4 Fabrics Ready to Continue Staining
After the klowong process is complete, your cloth will have a batik motif pattern that is ready for the next stage — namely the coloring process which can be done manually by the batik craftsman of your choice.

This service fee consists of the following three main components:

- Design fees start from Rp 30,000 / Hour, work duration depends on the complexity of the desired motif.
- Designs can be sent by customers, or we can help you create them from scratch.
⚙️ Digital Canting Machine
- Machine usage is calculated based on operational time. Rates start from Rp 20,000 / hour.
- A new time estimate can be provided after the design has been analyzed by our computer system.
🧵 Fabric (Optional)
- If you don't bring your own fabric, Super Primis Cotton Fabric is available for Rp 84,000 / sheet (250 × 115 cm).
